NEWCASTLE PLOTTING £8m MOVE FOR PLAYER

Premier League outfit Newcastle United are reportedly plotting a summer move for Celtic defender KristofferAjer. The interest of the Magpies in the 23-year-old player was confirmed by The Sun.

It was reported that Newcastle United scouts were on hand to run the rule over the player during the Old Firm Derby at the weekend. The Magpies are said to be pressing on with their plans to sign the player despite the fact that he was part of the Celtic squad that lost 4-1 to Rangers in that derby.

CELTICSHOULD APPOINT O’NEILL – SUTTON

Celtic legend Chris Sutton has called for Stoke City manager Michael O’Neill to be named the new manager at his former club. Chris Sutton talked up ex-Northern Ireland national team boss O’Neill as the potential Celtic boss while he was on BT Sports. He also said that ex-Sunderland manager Mick McCarthy would be a good fit as the Celtic manager. Mick McCarthy is the current manager at English Championship club Cardiff City. Celtic are in search of the perfect manager after Neil Lennon resigned on Monday. Neil Lennon was formerly a Celtic player and manager. He led the Scottish Premiership giants to a ninth successive league title last season but he has not been able to enjoy the same success in the league this season. Neil Lennon and Celtic have played second fiddle to Steven Gerrard and his Rangers team in the Scottish Premiership this season. Neil Lennon leaves Celtic 18 points adrift of leaders Rangers. Rangers are expected to wrap up the league title by next month.

MAN UNITED, JUVENTUS EYEING CELTIC STARLET

Manchester United and Juventus are reportedly eyeing a move to sign Celtic shot stopper Vincent Angelini. This is according to the publication from Stretty News. It was revealed that the two former Champions League winners are plotting a move for the 17-year-old Celtic shot stopper. Manchester United are well stocked in the goalkeeping department at the Theatre of Dreams with the quartet of David De Gea, Dean Henderson, Lee Grant and Sergio Romero though the long-term future of Grant and Romero has not been resolved.


The Red Devils are constantly looking to improve the pool of the young players at the club and the addition of Celtic starlet Vincent Angelini will do just that. For Juventus, they have two very good goalkeepers in Gianlugi Buffon and WoijcechSzczesny. Celtic and Aberdeen Shared 6 Goals to Draw

The Scottish Premier League has heated up as Celtic has drawn their battle against Aberdeen. Both the teams scored 3 goals on behalf of them till the 90th minute but the match became a thriller. The match kept tilting towards both the sides whenever they scored a goal. This one point became very important to each of the teams as Celtic is now in the 2nd position of the league table and is dreaming to touch Rangers who are at the top of the table with 32 points. Fraser Forster keen on a deal with Hearts

According to the reports of Football Insider,Celtic goalkeeper Fraser Fors teris interested in signing a deal with the Scottish club Hearts. It seems like they will be losing another goalkeeper. His contract at Celtic has come to an endand his future currently is uncertain. Even though he was offered an extension at the club he denied it.


The reports suggest that he is willing to move to Hearts as they have offered the first-team opportunity for the player. They have offered the deal for two years and there are discussions on moving to the coaching. If Gordon chooses to move to Hearts then Celtic will not be having many options on goalkeeping.
