Oliver Burke keen to develop under Brendan Rodgers’ management

Scottish forward Oliver Burke has revealed his pleasure after sealing a short-term loan move to Celtic where he is hoping to become a better player under Brendan Rodgers’ guidance. The 21-year-old has experienced a frustrating season with West Bromwich Albion where he has been restricted to just three substitute appearances but he has been given the opportunity to revive his career with the Hoops.

In an interview covered by Celtic’s website, Burke revealed that Rodgers had a huge influence on him making the switch to Parkhead during the transfer window. He added to praise the qualities of Rodgers while saying that he would like to become a better player under the tutelage of the former Liverpool boss.

Rodgers Impressed by 7th Clean Sheet

Celtic secured a 1-0 win over Kilmarnock to continue their impressive run in the Scottish Premier league under the regime of Brendan Rodgers. Last season, the club won the league title under the guidance of Ronny Deila but they were not entirely dominant even without Rangers in the league.
