Klimala And Bayo Can Be Great Help For Celtic, says Sutton

Neil Lennon can make good use of the two January transfers, Patryk Klimala and Vakoun Issouf Bayo says former footballer Chris Sutton. In the pre-season, everyone talks about the transfer window and the possibilitiesof who would be leaving and arriving at the club. For Lennon, these two players can help himas the transfer budget for this year will be scarce due to COVID19 pandemic.

Celtic has spent a reasonable amount on the Polish footballer Patryk Klimala and he seems like a promising player who can make an impact on the team. Klimala cannot be a replacement for either Odsonne Edouard or Leigh Griffith. These two are great influential players of the Scottish club.

Griffith after the return of winter break has been exceptional when many commented he cannot be back to his previous game. Lennon had played Edouard and Griffith after the break and the two had been great. But the problem arises if one of them secures any injury.

When such a situation arises, Klimala and Bayo needs to be ready. They don’t have much of time left to develop themselves as the upcoming season is important and everyone needs to be prepared to show their best side.

Klimala was brought to Celtic for £3.5 million which is a good amount of transfer money when compared to the transfer market in Scotland. Meanwhile, Bayo was brought for £2 million. The transfer market will be difficult for Celtic as they will be looking forward to exceptional players which will be targeted by big clubs.

For Klimala and Bayo the few weeks before the season will be important. They need to train hard and show the coach what they are capable of. Lennon will be thinking of adding another forward to the scene when the transfer window opens and it’sup to Bayo and Klimala to show they are enough for the club.
